These terms are an agreement between you and Crossfade's operator, David Umoru. By using Crossfade you accept them.

What the service is

Crossfade copies the contents of a public YouTube playlist into a new playlist on your own Spotify account. It is free, provided as-is, and offered with no guarantee of availability or accuracy — track matching is best-effort, and you review every match before anything is created.

Your responsibilities

• Only convert playlists you have the right to access. Crossfade copies references to tracks, not audio — but what you do with it must comply with theYouTube Terms of Serviceand theSpotify Terms of Use.
• Don't abuse the service — no automated scraping, bulk requests, or attempts to disrupt it.
• You are responsible for the Spotify account you connect and the playlists created on it.

Relationship to YouTube and Spotify

Crossfade is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, or Spotify. All trademarks belong to their owners.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crossfade's operator is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service — including mismatched tracks, failed conversions, or interruptions. The service may change or be discontinued at any time without notice.

Privacy

How data is handled is described in theprivacy policy — the short version: nothing about you is stored on any server.
